TO DOWNLOAD A FILE AND SAVE
IT TO YOUR COMPUTER: If you are using a PC, right click on the
file name,
then select Save Target As... from the drop down menu. Be sure to
note
the location on your computer where
the file is being saved.
If you are using a Mac, click on the file name, and when the file opens,
save it to your
computer.
WHAT TYPES OF FILES ARE HERE?
You will find files in a variety of file types in the Artwork Center. The following is a description of each type and its use(s).

PSD |
Photoshop files may contain multiple layers of graphics, vector maps, effects, text, and other elements. These files are usually the source of JPG, GIF, TIF, and other graphic file types.

JPEG |
JPEG is a popular file compression format which allows the storage of high quality images in relatively small files. JPEGs are a very commonly used file format for images on the World Wide Web. |

GIF |
A common format for image files, especially suitable for images containing large areas of the same color. GIF format files of simple images are often smaller than the same file would be if stored in JPEG format, but GIF format does not store photographic images as well as JPEG. GIF files are limited to 256 colors, but allow for animaited images. |

AI |
Native file format of Adobe Illustrator. AI is actually a varitaion of the Adobe Encapsulated PostScript (EPS) format.

EPS |
Encapsulated PostScript format is for graphics and text supported by several graphics drawing applications. An EPS file can contain two versions of an image: a bitmap used to display the image on the screen, and a PostScriptTM description used to print the image.

The Tagged-Image File Format is used to exchange files between applications and computer platforms. TIFF is a flexible bitmap image format that is supported by virtually all paint, image-editing, and page-layout applications. TIFF supports RGB, CMYK, and grayscale color models.
